Terri has been teaching at the Fitness Club over 8 years and loves helping empower students to adopt and sustain healthy lifestyle behaviors that prevent, mitigate and even reverse chronic diseases. We all need to maintain muscles for bone health, energy, better overall health & wellness, and have a good night’s sleep!
She specializes in women’s health and working with older adults to help with strength, balance to prevent falls, flexibility, weight loss/or gain and to have peace of mind.
The prevalence of chronic, inactivity-related diseases is on the rise. According to the CDC and Prevention, approximately one in two people in the US has at least one chronic health condition such as heart disease, cancer, hypertension, diabetes or obesity and one in four adults has two or more chronic health conditions and this is why its so important to maintain a regular exercise program!
