Martha believes that “Everybody has a Yoga Body”, She strives to meet everyone where they are at on their own mat and in their own practice.

Martha has been practicing yoga for 13 years. She received her certification through Devanadi School of Yoga and Wellness in Minneapolis, MN in 2013 merging the sacred rivers of Yoga, Ayurveda, Tantra and Energy Medicine.

Martha’s focus when teaching yoga is not only aligning the physical body but also the subtle energy body, using Meditation, Pranayama, Bandha and  Chakra work to help students uncover their hidden gifts and potential.

Martha believes that “Everybody is a Yoga body”, she strives to meet everyone where they are at on on their own mat and in their own practice. She is also a certified Silver Sneakers instructor and enjoys helping others increase their strength, range of motion and stability.

Jessi moved to Merritt Island from South Florida and has been teaching Zumba for five years. She started dancing when she was nine years old at her small hometown studio in Iowa, then after receiving a dance performance and choreographer degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan Her dance eventually took her to NYC where she performed for three years.

After taking one Zumba class she decided she had to go get certified immediately! She sees Zumba as a fulfilling extension of her love for dance and fitness and is amazed at how Zumba has changed so many lives.

Becoming a Bodybuilder was always a dream of mine, that I never thought was possible. Growing up overweight most of my life I struggle to fit in and do what the other kids did. I started lifting weights with my best friend when I was 17. I hated every second of it, but it’s what my friends were doing and I wanted to look better so I did as well. I began to enjoy working out and started to study and learn more. I never had an issue getting stronger but never could control my weight.

As years passed I never got the physique I really wanted and it was not until my late 20’s / early 30’s that I was able to place my knowledge together and really take control of my body and mind. Competing in bodybuilding was more than just “showing off my muscles” for me: it was showing that I had overcome obesity and learned how to control my weight and control my life.

Bodybuilding is not about building muscles, it’s about building your mind, character, values, knowledge, sportsmanship and camaraderie & life.

My Goal for my clients is to better their minds through physical fitness, build lasting friendships and life habits that empower them to believe in what they once thought to be impossible. By sharing my passion and knowledge with them I hope facilitate these goals as a coach and friend.

I enjoy working with people of all fitness levels and walks of life.However, I am especially passionate about weight loss in teenagers and young adults.  With America’s population nearing the 50% mark of “overweight adults” helping the youth of today is the only way we can correct this number in the future.

Terri has been in the fitness industry for 10 years. She is highly credentialed and maintains multiple certification and loves teaching her classes, especially Silver Sneakers! She is delighted for the opportunity to work with older adults, helping them find their confidence to face each day strong! It is scientifically proven; exercise can slow down and reverse the aging process. Fitness professionals can roll back the clock for older participants!

When you improve strength and stability, you increase functionality and combat the effects of sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss). By addressing mobility, strength and balance, you improve posture, facilitate the activity of daily living and reduce the risk of falling. As a personal trainer, each session is designed to fit the individual’s needs of her client, working to achieve goals, to perform better and more confidently. This is accomplished by targeting increases in muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility.
